If you have the little lamb swing, do you find it a bit loud when swinging ? Mine is making almost like a grinding noise ? I don't want to send it back until I am certain that it is defective.
I just posted about this...I have been wanting to get one like this but the reviews are not very good. This is one of the biggest complaints and that the motor goes out very quickly...
FYI...there is a recent post on the forum where the Little Lamb Swing's chair actually detached from the unit and fell on LO. The baby had a concussion. I would definitely reconsider before buying the swing. There was also a post that said they returned the swing because the motor was so loud.

It is loud but better if you start to manually swing it before you turn it on. My LO loves it!
This. I always push the swing a little bit when I start it. Sometimes it's a little bit loud and I have to push it a little bit more until I don't hear the noise.
I just checked the screws on mine, and they appear fine. But then, I've only used a low setting.

Mine started making a tick sound the other day, so I called FP and the girl on the phone wanted to hear it and when she did she said my motor was bad.. I just had assumed it was supposed to sound that way, but I guess not.. So she is sending a new motor out to me to change it..
RETURN IT. My son was injured by the swing coming apart. As far as the motor is concerned, ours made the same noise but we did not return it because lo did not seem to mind. Now I just wish I had returned because of the motor and not had to deal with this. I have also had reports from other moms of screws being lose after prolonged use and of bolts coming off. The design is bad and the motors do not last very long. I suggest returning it.
Ours makes that noise as well, but has worked for us so far. I wish I had known about some of the bad reviews as I would have probably gotten a mamaroo.

If we get DS another swing it will definately be a mamaroo. I have heard amazing things about them.
I would return it if you can. We are on our second motor and have been reading horrible reviews. If we could have returned ours we would have but it was too late.
