ouchy contractions

Having some bad contractions for last few days... they seem to be getting a little more painful and a little more consistent. I'm already 2 cm, 50%, and -2 from last tuesdays appt. I am scheduled for csection on tuesday. I would say I have 2 really really painful contractions every other hour. I don't think that is enough to call L&D...is it?

    No. I asked my dr about this at my last appointment, because I get painful contractions pretty frequently throughout the day. Unless they're 5 minutes apart, are a minute long and have been going on for over an hour, there's no need to go to L&D.

    This is exactly what my doctor has said even though I have had lots of contractions.
