I didn't know this board was here!

Well, I am 39 weeks now, so I think I am researched out, but it's nice that this forum is here.

I recently switched practices because I found out my current practice was probably going to pull a switch on me, they started talking about c-section at 40 weeks because I am also going to be close to 40 (although I was AMA with my first too) Thankfully I found a very high risk midwife/OB group (the hospital they are at is the place where other hospitals sent high risk patients) who said I was NOT high risk - my health was great, it has been over 3 years since my c-section and saw no problem with me going to 42 weeks.

My sister attempted a VBAC in the 80s with her second, but had a life threatening rupture because she was induced with both pitocin and cytotec, so my family is not very supportive. I am planning a natural birth with midwives using hypnobabies and a doula this time.
