Sex works! I accidently had a Christmas baby!

My inside baby decided that she had enough of that jarring around, apparently, and decided on Friday that she'd like to be an outside baby.

DH and I woke up on Christmas Eve feeling a little frisky, and when we were done there was a huge wet spot on the bed. I was like, "Baby, did you have a super sweaty butt or something?!" and he said he didn't think so. We decided it was my water. And we were right! After a trip to L&D to confirm (that, and they told me I was already 4cm), little Ava Madeline decided to make her entrance at 4:55am Christmas morning. Guess that means that it's time for me to move on over to the 0-3 month board!

Ladies. It is wonderful. She is the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me, and I'm so excited for all of you who still have yet to experience a love like this. People will tell you how much your life will change, and how much you'll love your little bundle of joy, but seriously - There is absolutely no way to even begin to understand the magnitude of it until it happens to you.

Best of luck to everyone! I'd post a picture, because she is, of course, adorable, but I don't know how! hehe!

I am a Jan mama turned Dec 28th and I cannot agree with this anymore. My husband and I are so in love. Our baby is such an angel and taking care of her has been so wonderful so far!
