No pics on walls

I have a million picture frames with pics in them and none of them are hanging on the walls.  I can't do it.  I look at the wall and don't want to mess it up by putting a nail in it.  I didn't even think about it till DH commented that I am the only mom he knows that doesn't have one picture of their child hanging up.  I have an album of her pics in the living room.  Is that not the same?  Anyway, anyone else have something weird like this?  I just never really gave it much thought but DH seems to think there is something wrong me lol.

    they sell picture wall hangers that don't damage the walls.

    I have taken well over a thousand photos of my son, but there are two haphazardly stuck on our bulletin board and that is it. None even framed.

    I have lots of things on our walls, but I don't put photos there. I have framed family photos on a bookshelf. I should really add one of James...

    Why the hang up on no holes in walls? Spackle is easy to use....

    Well, after college I have lived in apartments so any "damage" to walls I would have had to fix and didn't want to mess with it.  We bought a house in May 09' and we had just finished painting the house when we decided to move back to Kansas so DH could go to school.  So we had pics around but none on the walls.  Now we are living with my parents till our house sells, which I hope happens before July.  I like the collage idea and I totally forgot about the nailess picture hangers.  Thanks for the ideas.

    We've lived in our home for 4.5 years, and I still haven't put any photos on the wall. I feel pretty pitiful about it. I'm just such a minimalist. I am trying though. I've started decorating and making it nice and cozy. But, honestly, hanging pictures on the wall is intimidating to me. I'm also a perfectionist haha. I don't want to hang anything up and then change my mind and have to fix holes. So, I bought these "mighty hooks" (I think that's the name) which hold a lot of weight, but they only make a pin hole mark in the wall. Pretty cool.

    How about using those command wall hanger strips? I personally LOVE hanging pictures - I'm always putting them up/changing them out!
