"I'm not so excited for my strep B test." to this DH says......

"Why?  Don't they just have to swab your throat?"

 I answer, "Ummm, no....they swab the other end."

 He replies, astounded, "WHAT?!? You can get strep throat down there?!?"

 

 

Oh how he makes me smile sometimes.  Smile

    LOL I reminded my DH tonight that I have my 36wk appt next week and will have my GBS test done, and he eyed me and asked "Why would they be testing you for STDs?" Hahahahaha, I had to inform him it's a common infection and anyone can get it regardless of sexual history! But the stink eye I got...

    That's pretty cute.
    I give up trying to get a ticker.  I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome.  Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself.  Hmmm.  How about...

    Baby Boy Born 3.15.11. 8lb 9oz, 21.75in. 6 month stats: 20lb 11oz (92%tile), 30.12in.(100%tile - who knew it went over 99th? Which means 100% of other 6 month olds are shorter than mine!)

    DH said the same thing to me, lol

    and quite honestly I felt very violated afterwards.

    My Doctor just sprung it on me... "oh by the way were gonna do a strep B test today, so if I could get you to assume the position." lol
