Did anyone use the Shrinkx Hips or the tummy support band after giving birth? If so, did either of them work? I was thinking about the Shrinkx Hips band, but am never sure about those things...
I found the Shrinkx Hips to be hard to wear, long term. The last thing I wanted to be after giving birth and during that recovery period was uncomfortable. You're already sleep deprived and if you're nursing, trying to get comfortable doing that...it was just too much. My hips are back to normal, despite the fact I didn't wear that thing very often. I also used the belly bandit for a few weeks, on and off. I think it helped during those initial couple weeks to more quickly flatten things (get the swelling down), but it can be deceiving...things look amazing when you just take it off, but then if you leave it off, it all settles more realistically within a period of hours. At 5 months post-pregnancy, my body is pretty much back to normal except for the fact that I've had no time to work out. If I were doing that, I'd be completely back to normal for the most part (within reason), I'm pretty sure. I have no idea of the belly bandit truly helped get my body there...I've heard other moms tell me their bellies went back just fine without its use. If you can do it, I'd recommend a belly support (it helps you feel like you're doing something, at least, and for some it really helps with posture/comfort after giving birth), but I wouldn't get too obsessive about it...
Shrinkx Hiips was a huge waste of money for me because I couldn't wear it while sitting... which is the majority of the time now that baby is here. It was very uncomfortable and all I wanted was to be as comfortable as possible. I had no tolerance for it whatsoever.
It also kind of rubbed against my c-section incision, so that didn't help.
I'll love you forever,
I'll like you for always,
As long as I'm living my baby you'll be.

I bought Shrinx hips and found it worthless. I wore it a couple of times but found it uncomfortable and it would ride up to my waist. I think unless you ace bandage it to ur hips, it might work. lol I found out I really didn't need it anyway because my hips ended up going back to what they used to be anyway.
