what is the obsession with putting food in her hair?

P never touches her hair unless she is sitting in her highchair and has 2 little hands full of food....if i can catch her before she does it she waves her hand at me and says "no, no, no", so she knows she isn't supposed to do it.  it just makes me nuts!!  and she gets a bath every other night because of her eczema, so there has been more than one time that she has gone through a night and a day with cream cheese, hummus, banana, etc. in her hair that i can't get out.  gross.  i am thinking this is one more reason to cut off her baby mullet.....

    I have to bathe baby J infrequently too from eczema too, but he does get a wipe down after meals beacuse he puts his food filled hands in his few hairs and it gets all crusty.  I can't imagine a full head of hair with food in it.  I keep a few washcloths and a spare J&J soap in our downstairs bathroom just for that.

    Lol at the mullet comment! :) we don't have this problem as DD is as bald as they get! Not that she would keep it on, but maybe put a light weight beanie on her head as she eats??!!?

    We have the same problem.  I usually just bathe her, but I don't want to have to do that 3 times a day!  It's a mess!

    Uhhhhgggg, this is a terrible habit of Ophelia's!  I actually consider what I'm serving her based on knowing she'll put her hands in her hair Confused

    just one more reason why i'm a huge fan of the big box of wipes from costco- can keep them in every room and use them all.the.time for exactly this reason (and others). they don't smell so it's handy to just grab a wipe and wipe the gunk out of her curls...
