  Same here. Hello!

   

  When is your induction? I'm going to try to avoid one. I took a 4 mile walk in the rain yesterday, and ate a pineapple, and loads of pesto for dinner.. jeez. haha I don't know that it actually works, but.. why not?

  I'm a teacher too and due Thursday... While I know I would regret it, I almost wish I WAS going back tomorrow.  This waiting thing is getting SO OLD!!!  At least work would pass the time...

  I'm a teacher too and this is my last week of work.  I am due on the 14th, but I almost wish I had said I'd work up until I give birth.  This past week (holiday break) has been so boring!!  At least going to work will give me something to do!!

  I was due yesterday also and was counting the hours as well! I went 42 weeks with my first, 40 weeks and 6 days with my second, so I just assumed I would go over with this one also so I'm not too anxious yet. If this is your first, just plan on going past 41 weeks and you'll drive yourself less crazy with the waiting. 

  When is your induction date and why are you getting induced? Is there a problem with you or the baby? I convinced my doctor to wait to induce me until 42 weeks so we haven't even talked about a date yet (other than "before January 15th unless complications arise").

  My due date is tomorrow, but last time my cervix was checked I was only a fingertip dilated, so it's probably safe to assume that I will miss my due date as well.

  I am set to be induced on Jan. 13 unless my cervix becomes more "favorable". That will be at 41 weeks and 3 days...I hope he comes before then though. 

  I hear ya on the refusing to go back to work - it is SO difficult to work at this point! No clothes fit and I don't want to be around ANYONE! 

  Might have to go back though - can't afford to take that much time off work unpaid...we'll see though. Good luck to everyone on here though - hope you don't go too far past your due dates - I know it's maddening!

  Me too. I was due Dec 31st and I am a teacher and not going  back either!

  I am supposed to start induction on the evening of 1/9, but will probably ask to be induced on the evening of 1/10, so that I can have a 1/11 baby. Crazy... I know. But the way I figure it.... if I have to wait that long I should at least be able to pick the date I want:)

  ok great minds think alike. I was also due yesterday and I am going to be ask to be induced the evening of the 10th for a 1/11/11 baby! I'm glad someone else thinks like me :-)
