Increase Ovulation?

My husband and I have been trying for 4 months to get pregnant. Before we started trying I got checked out from my OB and she told me everything was good to go. I happened to be ovulating at the time of my visit so she was able to help me figure out the days I ovulate. Since then I have tracked the days that my period come and the days I ovulate. The first two months I could easily tell that I was ovulating. I had cramping in my ovaries and then there is the physical evidence it shows you. The last two months I have not been able to tell, no cramping or evidence. We have still had sex on the days that I should have been ovulating. So I would like to know if this is normal or if there is anything I can do to increase ovulation. (I heard eating 1/2 cup of ice cream helps...not sure if they just wanted to use that as an excuse to eat it :) )

    I don't know what you mean by increase ovulation.

    One of the only ways to know you ovulated is to chart your temps on FF.  Click my ticker to sign up.

    Also, reading TCOYF would be good for you.  GL

    I suggest clicking on the ticker in my siggy and signing up for Fertility Friend (it is free).  In doing this you can take your temp every day and see for yourself if you are or are not ovulating.

    Make sure to use a spoon, instead of the ice cream scooper... I've made that mistake before.

    i need to get on this fertility friend recommendation train....i didn't realize until a few days ago that when someone signs up through your FF link you get free VIP days.
