diaper pail rave

Just wanted to let you ladies know about a diaper pail I love, just in case you were still trying to decide.

We started with the Diaper Champ and I *hated* it. It jammed up a lot, because I couldn't see inside to see when it was getting full. Yes, the handle started to move more slowly as it got full, but I didn't like the "no warning" part of it. Once it was full, diapers would get jammed in there and it was a PITA to deal, especially mid-diaper change.

We ended up getting this and I *LOVE* it!

It uses regular kitchen bags (like the Champ did, but the Genie uses special $$$ bags), and I just put a Renuzit gel bead container in the bottom and it has yet to smell bad. After almost a year of twin poopy and pee diapers, that's pretty incredible. And I can tell when it's getting full because you can see inside, so no jams. And changing the bag is so, so easy. And bonus that it's cheap compared to the Genie and Champ.

Thanks for the recommendation! I've been doing research so I can register soon and have never heard great things about the diaper genie or champ...it's nice to see there's an alternative that works well though. I'll add this to my registry list.
