Thought I was doing something nice

Every year Jake and I have been going to the Monster Trucks, so today while he was working I thought I would surprise him and get tickets. When I picked him up from work I told him, and he is disappointed I didn't get better tickets and now is mad that I didn't talk to him first.

I figured he would be mad if I spent too much money since we have a baby coming and bills to pay, and he wants a new car etc.

So much for my nice surprise! Sad

Silly Jake! My DH did something similar summer before last when I got him tickets to see the Indians. He eventually said he was sorry.

i looked up the seats again and showed him, and they were better than I had thought, and ended up being around where he was looking just a little cheaper, so he was happy
