OK so I'm knitting a baby shower gift and I can't quite figure out what this line is supposed to mean:
beg with a k row (35 sts), work in st st and inc 1 st at each end of the 5th row and every following 6th row until there are 45 sts
![]()
So does that mean row 1-4 have 35 sts, 5 has 36, 6 has 37 then repeat it over again?
So the set would be 1-4 has 37, 5 has 38, and 6 has 39 then repeat until 45 sts?
or
is it 1-4 has 35, 5 has 36, 6 has 37, 7 has 38 and so on?
I might be over thinking this!! ![]()
Re: NEFR: Knitting pattern wording question
AH!
wow completely not what I thought!
Thanks!
So knit plain means stockinette for the rows or knit stitch?
stockinette, since that what's the pattern specified.
