stage 3 says up to 28lbs. max is almost 26lbs. he's in a stage 4 and it seems big but fits (package says 22lbs+). Am I safe ordering the stage 3? we're out of cloth until we buy a new washer Crying

No. Go for Stage 4.

I'd stick with the 4s too. You may end up with leaking issues if you aim too small.

DS is about 28 lbs and wears a 5. I would definitely go with a 4 for your son. I always buy a little larger rather than smaller because I only use at night so need more absorption.

Thanks guys, I did go with the 4s. Looks like they might not get here until Wednesday though, and I actually might have a new washer by then >.<
