TTC After a Loss

CD 1 only 10DPO?

So of course AF made herself known today! I am just a bit concerned that she arrived only 10 days after I ovulated. Should I be worried?

Re: CD 1 only 10DPO?

  • My cycle changed after I delivered.  Before it was 30-31 days, but 2 cycles after my loss it changed to 28 days and it's been that way ever since.  It may just be a fluke this month, but it the trend continues next month mayeb talk to your doc.  (Or put in a call to the doc now if that would make you feel better.)

  • I think it becomes an issue if it happens a few cycles in a row. I had a couple 8-9 day LPs when my cycle was still regulating.
  • *hugs*  I agree with the above posters. It might just be a fluke this month, but if it continues I'd check with a doctor.

  • 10 DPO is short, but still considered normal. Anything less than 10DPO is something you should really be concerned about. You could always bring your concern up to your doctor. If you're nervous you can always take some extra B6 to lengthen it. I've been taking 50mg of B6 every day and my LP went from 10 days to 13 days. I cant be for sure if it was the B6 or not, but I'm still taking it.

  • Hugs! I'm sorry about AF. If you got AF at 10 dpo then you had a 9 day LP, which I think might be worth bringing up to the doctor. Have you thought about trying to temp? I know it's probably hard with a LO, but you might want to give it a shot so you know concretely when you O.

Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.
  • Also you could have Oed the day you had your + opk which means that you actually did have a 10 day LP which is within the okay range.

I would definitely try to temp if you can because you could even not be Oing. A + opk doesn't mean you are going to O.
