Newborn photographers in Huntsville area

Can anyone recommend a photographer in the Huntsville/Madison County area for an in-studio newborn session?  TIA

    We used Heather Bookout. I thought she did a fantastic job. The prices were on par with most of the photographers in town. I just liked the way she did photos. Here is a link to her site.

    Just a word of warning though- I originally was going to use them for my maternity photos but when I received the pricing package {which at the time was after I sent in my deposit}, I realized the investment would be way too much i.e. she's fairly expensive. Thankfully she refunded the full amount for me, but you should ask for the pricing sheet prior to sending your deposit.

    Also, she sometimes offers "Limited Edition" sessions for $35 but these are 10-min sessions and you meet her at a pre-determined site. I think that's different from what you may be looking for.

    I used photographer Allison Jansen for my wedding in 2006. I understand she's done more newborn/child photography in recent years, including photographing the actual deliveries.

    I have used Heather Bookout and she does do fabulous work and her studio is amazing.  However, I think she is crazy expensive and, to be honest, I just didn't "click" with her on a personal level.  For Lanie's NB shots, I used Erin Cobb and can not say enough about her.  She doesn't have a studio though, but she came to our house and I liked that soooo much better.  She brought alot of great stuff with her, and then set up in a spot next to a window.  She used a space heater and a sound machine to keep Lanie warm and sleeping.  She was incredible with her.  She really has a special touch.  I called her the Baby Whisperer!  Here is a link to her website and make sure to check out her blog too:

    I second Erin Cobb.  I have had three of my friends use her and we are booking a family shoot with her this year.  She does amazingly awesome work, and one of my friends went to college with her and said she is the sweetest person.

    I third Erin Cobb. She took my little one's newborn pics and several of my friends have used her as well. She's not cheap, but you get what you pay for.
