So ladies that voted kidney stone where right. And that is seriously some of the worst pain I've ever been in. It felt like contractions that where worse then the ones I had with my son.
Would have updated last night but they gave me a shot of morphine and gravel before sending me home right before midnight. And I slept until 1030 this morning.
So far I'm feeling better today, I think it's floating around in there right now but I've been warned it will probably be back and have to pass so I'm a little scared about that. But I have percoset (sp?) and was told to go back to our little hospital for a shot of morphine if I need it. And to visit my family dr this week, which is fine since I already have appointment on wednesday.
All I can say is the pain was horrid, but I'm happy they were not contractions and that my inside baby is still an inside baby and hopefully will stay that way for at least 6 weeks... I told her if she has to come early to wait until at least 37 weeks.
Re: F/u to Er visit last night
i think if you've already been through kidney pain, labor will not be as bad... at least there are down time between contractions instead of constant pain. Plus there is the opition of an epidural with labor.
Jokingly I asked the dr if the pain continued if I could just be hooked up to an epidural until I went into labor becuase that would hurt less.(that was after the morphine, and he laughed at least, lol)
So glad to hear you are diong better!
I agree - when I had my kidney stone a few weeks ago that was WAY worse than labor with DD#1. Good to hear they gave you some pain meds just in case your pain comes back. Take care of yourself!
