1st Trimester

When does heart beat start?

I know it's around 6 weeks, but curious if anyone actually has a website or something that talks about exact time frame.

i can't seem to find one when googling.

  • It varies a little for everyone.  Within a few days of 6 weeks is probably as close a timeframe as you can get.

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

  • Same as what others have posted, right around at 6wk mark. We had an U/S done earlier this week at 6w2d and the h/b was only at 64bpm. Hoping and praying it was so low because it had just started to beat. With our last pregnancy, we had an U/S at 5w5d and saw a h/b of around 85bpm.
