I actually gave her advice a few weeks ago on spotting/ leaking and all that stuff. When she responded, she was saying, "Oh I know I'm fine." Really? Must be nice to be able to see in your ute and not have any fears about loss.

It's at times like this when I remember what one of my college biology professors taught us regarding evolution. He brought up the point that evolution perpetuates what works, but not necessarily what is the best solution (for example, we don't have titanium skeletons).
Clearly being an idiot has it's evolutionary advantages, because it sure as h*ll seems to work.
