Long Vent--I am one cranky mama-jamma today!!

So, DH was one night short of being "Silver" status at Marriott, so we packed a bunch of crap and headed 1/2 mile down the road to stay at the new Fairfield last night. I knew it would be trying on my patience and I was right!

Blinding snowstorm, icy, below-zero temps. I had to run out and get us something to eat since DH was being all non-committal about what he wanted. "Fine, we're getting take out from Texas Roadhouse. You'll eat what I pick for you then."

Took C swimming in the pool and he loved it! So I also signed up for some Mommy & Me swim classes at the Y. That was a high point.

But that means he missed a nap and was a super cranky pants. WOULD NOT sleep in his Pea Pod, so we had the hotel bring out a pack and play for us. I was "THIS CLOSE" to driving back home and leaving him to stay at the hotel by himself. The hotel was full of pre-teen boys who were loud and obnoxious, too. I woke up at every single little noise.

AND DH tried getting all romantic on me---That did NOT go over well with me, when I just spent two frustrating hours trying to get YOUR SON to sleep while you watched football on ESPN.
