Has anybody experienced a pain in their left side of their body (literally on the side). I have been having this pain that comes and goes every minute and not sure if it's pregnancy related or not. Thanks.
Keep an eye on it. How's your peeing? Does the pain wrap around from your back at all?
I only ask beacuse I spent 3 lovely days in the hospital hooked up to IV antibiotics and fluids around 14 weeks thanks to an untreated UTI that turned into a wicked kidney infection in my right kidney.
I had NO clue I even had a UTI, but the doc says it can happen. I didn't go to the ER until it was too late. I had spent 12 hrs in pain -- the pain came in waves, only on my right back/side and made me throw up, it hurt so bad.
When I got to the hospital I was so dehydrated that I was having contractions.
So, while it may be nothing, constant pain could be cause for concern.
The pain is on my left side and it kind of wraps around. I don't have any symptoms of a UTI but I don't think that means anything because I've heard of so many people having UTIs without symptoms. I might have to call my mom (who is my doctor's nurse) and see what she says to do. Thanks!
