This two week wait is almost as bad as the first one!

So, I have been to the midwife. Had my ultrasound. I've been told that its a viable pregnancy and I've seen the heart beat twice. Now the waiting til the next appt. starts, two weeks and 3 days and counting... Maybe I need a ticker for this?? lol. Anyone else in this form of the 2WW?

Yes, the waiting sucks. I just want to see the heartbeat so badly.

I haven't even scheduled my first appointment yet I finally received my OB referral today and of course the place is closed for New Year's. I'm hoping if I call early on Monday they'll see me sometime next week. I'm going nuts waiting.

I'm almost tempted to overnight a doppler from Amazon.com to see if I can hear it myself, but that's probably not a good thing for my sanity. Does anyone know how far along you have to be to hear a heartbeat with a doppler?

ETA: Nevermind. I just consulted Dr. Google and you have to be like 10-12 weeks.

I just started a 2WW until our next appt/ultrasound. It's taken forever just to get to the 2WW part (last appt was 3 weeks ago) so I can only imagine how long the next 2 weeks will go.

I'm a good two weeks out from my next appt- the NT scan. Its killing me! We received a doppler for Christmas and while I *think* I found the HB I'm not sure- I just want the reassurance of an ultrasound!

I completely agree, but i haven't had ANY type of appt yet

I have 10 days until my first appt, where hopefully i will get to hear the heartbeat, but i can imagine its the same nagging,anxious feeling for each appt!

I don't see my OB until the 25th

I feel like the next few weeks are going to drive me (and poor DH since he has to listen to me) nuts!!!

i'm in the three week wait! my next appt isn't until 1/21, but we just had an appt this week and saw the little heartbeat!

I am jealous of all you ladies. My first appointment isn't until next week, and I won't even be having an u/s then. I have no idea when I will have an u/s or get to hear the heartbeat.
