Teething and Fever?

DS has a fever.  It's not very high, though.  We gave him some tylenol and are going to keep an eye on it.  So has anyone else's LO had a fever while teething?  Just curious if that's what it could be.  I wasn't sure if it was possible or even likely that he could get a fever while teething.  (Don't worry... the pedi has been contacted.)

    It is possible to get a fever and even an ear infection while teething. Our little one just cut 3 teeth and everyone kept asking if he had a fever (he didn't). He did end up having an ear infection and so many people said that it could have been due to his cold and teething at the same time.

    DS doesn't have any teeth yet, but when DD was teething she would run a slight temp (always less than 100). She usually got her teeth in pairs, so I don't know if that had anything to do with it or not.
