Weight loss 34 weeks

Anyone had a weight loss at 34 weeks? I was expecting to see a 5 pound gain but ended up losing 5 pounds....supposed to have an u/s next visit to check growth. Has anyone else experienced this?

I had lost 3 lbs at 32 weeks but then gained it back at 34 weeks. My OB wasn't concerned about it

When I was pg with dd my weight fluctated between 34 weeks until I delivered her (at 39w3d) by 6 lbs. It was never a concern for my OB.

I had my last appointment Wednesday and had lost a couple pounds and my DR wasn't worried. I also had a sono mat the appointment and everything looked ok so I wouldn't worry. GL! : )

My dr. said babies are "parasites" and even if you lose weight they'll still get the nutrition they need from you. She told me this when I lost weight in my 2nd trimester but I figure it's prob the same logic in the 3rd.

My weight has gone up and down so much during this pregnancy. I lost 8 pounds between my 28 and 31 wk appt then in the next 10 days, I gained about 6 pounds back. I still have really bad m/s, or all day sickness, so I think that is why my weight is going up and down.

I am assuming they did the glucose test and all your other routine labs as well? I would think that much weight loss for no reason might be a little bit of a concern. Have you gained overall for the whole pregnancy? If your weight is on target for your whole pregnancy, I probably would not worry as much.
