Drinking alcohol on the pill

My friend said that drinking alcohol on the pill cancels this out.  I have never heard that.  Is this true?  Does anyone have any experience with this?

    No not true! And its ridiculous! There are some antibiotics and other medication that will cancel the pill out.

    However drinking a ton of alcohol can make you forget to take your pillStick out tongue

    If that was true I would probably have 100 kids by now. Antibiotics make the pill less effective.

    Not true. I read the pamphlet front and back when I got it and nothing was mentioned at all. If it affected anything they would have to say so.

    Drinking A LOT can affect it but not normal social drinking. If normal drinking and being on the pill caused babies then almost every 21 year old college student would have a baby.
