podee bottles?

HI,

Tell me your experience with the podee bottles...Did you use them? Like them? My pediatrician mentioned these to me at today's visit...and I know you ladies will give it to me straight. Are these worth the $$$?

We would only need these once in a while. I usually just feed my babies one after another or use the bobby method. Thought they would be good when the grandma's watch them when they are a little older.

Let me know what you think!

Re: podee bottles?

  • Nah, never got them, never felt like we needed them.  From what I've heard most babies don't have the suction strength to use them until they're older anyway, and by that point usually at least one of your twins will be able to hold their own bottle.  I know that some people say they're useful for long car trips, but when we travel with them we have to stop every few hours anyway to let them out of the carseats to stretch or they get angry, so we just plan the stops around their feeding times, and fed them bottles like normal during those stops when they were still on bottles.

Plus I'm a bit paranoid about them eating in the car while driving, and them choking and us not being able to pull over and get them out of the seat in time.  I let them snack or have water occasionally now, but I wouldn't have let them do it at such a young age.

  • I have them and I LOVE them.  I SAH and I use them for every feeding.  I feed one with a Podee and I hold the other one and feed them.  It was also great the other day when I was out with both babies for a doctor's appointment and I needed to feed them in the stroller.  Worked perfectly!
