I never realized how depressing this was...

"You are my Sunshine" has always been one of my favorites...I havent' listened it to it for years though...I re-listened it today...Oh my god...so depressing...I cried. Why do I do this to myself....

    I have never seen all the lyrics.. it is depressing and I have always thought it was a kid's song too... wow

    I've heard the first verse before and of course the chorus, but I didn't know about the other verses.  Wow, it just gets increasingly more depressing.

    I've never actually heard/read the verses! I sing it to our dog. I guess I should stop! haha It really is sad!

    It actually is really a depressing song.  I've heard the other verses before, but it's been a while.  I wonder what it was originally written about.

    I never knew there was more then 2 versus to that song.  My dad (who died 5 years ago) used to always sing it to us and it always makes me sad and reminds me of him.

    Wow!
    I never knew there were so many versus!  That has always been a special little song between me and DH - the happy version I knew in my head anyway!  Maybe we should rethink that....

    1st BFP August 6th, 2010. Missed MC discovered at 13 weeks. 

    2nd BFP January 5th, 2011. Beautiful Harper born September 28th, 2011.

    3rd BFP March 15th, 2013. Treated with methotrexate for ectopic pg at 7 weeks.

    4th BFP August 2nd, 2013. Sweet Micah born sleeping at 21 weeks with full T13. 5th BFP July 1st, 2014. Praying for a healthy, full term rainbow!
