Elton John named his baby

Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John

Not sure why he has 2 middle names, but good for him and his hubby.  Elton John would be a crazy fun dad!

He is 62 and his husband is 48.  I think it's neat that he's made the leap into parenthood.

  • I just read that name on a post between here and Baby Names, but no reference was made to Elton John that I noticed. I just thought it was a joke.

  • Ooooh interesting.  A celebrity going with fairly normal names!

Our top boy name is Jackson ("Jack") so I give him a thumbs up.

  • While I think Levon is a little odd (since he has 2 middle names)

I actually think the name is pretty normal.  They last two names are their hyphenated last names.

For a celebrity it is very tame.  For Elton John it is also tame.  Though, he has mellowed through the years.

Touche....I was surprised not to see a "Prince" or a "King" in the name Wink

Me thinks his DH may have a large degree of normal in him and put the kibosh on any "elton john - type names"...

I agree.  His hubby is MUCH more low key.  They've been together for a long time, so it's been seen.  And really, that's good.  'Cause you can't have 2 Elton John's in a relationship.  LOL!

  • Glad to see a normal name instead of starlight glitter moonshine or some other celeb weird thing.

  • Interesting the baby was born 12/25 when you think of the lyrics to his song:

He was born a pauper to a pawn on a Christmas day
When the New York Times said God is dead
    And the war's begun
Alvin Tostig has a son today

    And he shall be Levon
And he shall be a good man
    And he shall be Levon
In tradition with the family plan
    And he shall be Levon
And he shall be a good man
    He shall be Levon

  • I think double middle-names is the new trendy thing to do.

  • Mmmmhhhhh interesting.

Stuoid question did they use a surugate (sp) or did they addopt? I only wonder because of the song if addopted possibly from a less fortunate family therefore the pauper would be true. Just wondering,
