Has there been a resolutions post?

I never, ever keep mine. I'm trying to lose weight, but also this year am starting a pretty big project (inspired by Lyndsay!)... a photo-a-day blog. I really aim to keep it up all year.

365 days. 365 photos.

Starting it tomorrow... very excited!

What is/are yours?

Re: Has there been a resolutions post?

  • DH & I want 2011 to be a year of all around recovery for ourselves and our family. Our personal health & fitness needs to improve to at least where it was before we got PG. Our finances need major repair.. New jobs, new budget, medical debt management, etc. And our marriage needs to be revived. Desperately. So we aren't setting any specific goals because we never do keep our resolutions, but we are both in agreement that we 2011 is all about recovery.

  • These are my resolutions for 2011:

Exercise more (even if that means going out for a daily walk).

Think before I speak and work a little harder to give people the benefit of the doubt before I make a mental pre-judgment.

Be more committed to celebrating Shabbat in our home.

Save 6 months worth of expenses in an e-fund.

  • Continue exercising and increase my jogging distance.

Run in a 5K race and complete it.

    Lose weight.

    Continue paying off debt.

    Get pregnant.

    1. Loose weight to 6 week check uo
    2. Rebuild savings and pay off some debt
    3. Survive Senior Year

  • 1. Lose the rest of the baby weight (20lbs). I'd prefer by February for a wedding but I know it won't happen.

    2. Sell this house for a decent price so we can move to something bigger.

    3. Exercise regularly which is much harder than I thought with an infant.

    4. Cook more and eat less processed foods. I'm already working on this but being sick 2x this month hasn't helped.

  • 1.  Visit one place I've never been before.  (This is one I've made and kept for several years.)

    2.  Get much, much more proficient with my DLSR.

  • 1. Make time for myself after baby #2 arrives, which includes reading for pleasure and getting back on my bike.

    2. Work up the guts to submit the manuscript I wrote to a publisher.

    3. Like Froggi, get a lot better with my DSLR.

    Dear Bump: You suck.
  • I normally don't do resolutions because I can't keep them, but I hope to manage my finances better in the near year, get pregnant in the new year, discover some sort of inner peace in the new year (or at least find the path to getting there.)

  • I hope to live life to the fullest and enjoy every minute with Kate.  I am well on the way to achieving this one, but it has been a long road to get there.  I am a chronic worrier and sometimes it keeps me from living in the moment.

I should say that I want to start exercising and eating healthier, but who are we kidding.  :)  I really do want to get more proficient with our DSLR.  I got an awesome new lens for Christmas and I'm getting to take some lessons in January which I am *so* excited about.
