Hello, first I have to say your boys are so cute! Second, when you CD'ed would you get green mountain pre fold diapers, 2 dozen for newborn & smalls to start.? I was thinking about them and then also what covers did you use? I know all babies are different but just wondering. I was looking a thristies.

    When I started CDing, I had no idea about the many options out there.  My mom and MIL taught me what they did 20-30 years ago and I went with it.  So I had mostly Gerber prefolds or whatever other birdseye brand I could find at the local stores - they don't really have sizes.  I had mostly Gerber rubber pants (which I would never recommend) and then eventually bought some Imse Vimse, Proraps, and Bummi Super Whispers.  They all worked really well, but out of them all the Imse Vimses were my least favorites.  I think the Proraps worked best on my newborns, but I like the Bummis now on my older kids.

    I've heard great things about thirsties.

    Sorry I'm not much help.  Like I said, I just went with what our moms told us to do.
