A GIRL! We have 3 boys and I love them oh so very much, but it will be wonderful to throw some pink into the mix of blue. YEAH.

We recived the results from our CVS test which also shows a healthy baby no chromosomal abnormalities.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but CVS is a genetic test to determine any problems the baby might have. Since they're looking at the DNA, they can tell for sure, boy or girl. Many opt out of the test unless they are high risk, because there is a slightly higher risk of miscarriage.

CVS is a test like AMNIO but done earlier and insted of taking amniotic fluid they take a tisssue samples from the placenta (the cronic villi) (sp) and compose a gentic modle of the baby and look at all the chromosomes that make up LO. This is how they can tell so early.

Correct although the risk of mc are still very small although higher with CVS by 0.5% vs AMNIO

hahahahahahha! omg i'm so with you. I did the same thing. first my thought was: "she's gotta be crazy" then my thought was: "i wonder if my CVS sells one?"
