spitting..

in Toddlers: 24 Months+
in need of major help with a 2 1/2 year old who spits we have tried timeout, send her to her room, ignoring it any suggestions?

    I have no advice but looking for the responses.  DD likes to take a drink of milk/juice/water and spit it on the floor or into another cup or bowl (from her play kitchen).

    If you want to spit, you may go and spit in the toilet, but you do not spit on me or the couch. 

    Usually one trip to the bathroom and she is over it.  This is also what we used to use when I was teaching preschool.
