What are your plans tonight?

in 3rd Trimester

We are just staying home since we had the snow storm yesterday and going to have another one tonight/tomorrow. Plus all the major roads are closed and they don't want you driving. Which is fine with me.

So I think we'll watch movies and popcorn tonight.

    DH is working night shift so it will be just DS & I.  I'll do some housework early in the evening then we'll probably watch a movie or something like that .

    Kids are going to the grandparents, and we have friends coming in from out of town. So nothing real crazy since of course I am in no shape to party hard....probably dinner out and then back in to visit with our friends who we haven't seen in about 6 months! WITH NO KIDS!! lol....so it will be quiet.

    We'll be doing the same thing we do every year - staying in and having a nice meal with the boys.  Then after they go to bed DH and I have a board game tournament until we are too tired to stay up any more.  We're usually in bed before the ball drops. 

    I am determined to win the game war tonight!

    My BF had every intention of us going up to his friends (100 miles away) and partying like rockstars (well he would be partying and I would be sitting there sad watching all the drunk happy people) Instead we are staying in with my son.  I'm really hoping he isn't disappointed or upset. I have been staying in for years and this was his last new years eve without his own kids.  I'm gonna try to make it a special low key night and show him that it really is ok to grow up LOL

    We're going to be Mr. and Mrs. Borington tonight.  This is actually the first "Holiday" we get to spend in our new house (since Christmas and Thanksgiving were spent with family), so I'm making chili and cornbread for dinner, and watching *** Clark and the ball drop.  To me it's not NYE without a countdown!  We're going to enjoy our last NYE as a twosome, which means at some point today I will most likely burst into tears for no reason.

    We will be sitting out our butts playing Mario Brothers on the Wii or watching movies until 2am like we have been the entire week!  DH is home on leave and we've both been sick so our sleeping schedules are crazy right now.  It's 1pm right now and he has usually been awake for a good 8 or 9 hours by now but he's still passed out.  He goes back to work Sunday so not only are we staying up and hanging out for New Years but for our last night we can stay up late, just us, before he goes back to work and LO comes Smile

    well it'll be my first sober new years in a loooooong time but I'm sick with a sore throat and stuffy nose so I'll be staying home. If DH doesn't go out with friends I'll kiss him all sick under the mistletoe that's still hung up :)

    we'll be sitting by the boob-tube watching the ball drop w/ DSS and probably not much more than that! I'm glad, I'm so over the "go out and get wild" days of old.

    we're going to our friends house for a party...i'm the DD for the night :[ i'll probably sit around and watch everyone make asses out of themselves. then once the ball drops, i'll be so tired i won't know what to do with myself!!! they're having major road blocks, and i'm kind of nervous about driving tonight, but hopefully the Nitro will dominate the road haha. everyone be safe & have a happy new year!!!

    FI is actually working in Times Square tonight.  I'm home with the cat, chilling on the sofa watching it all on tv.  Wish I'd thought to get a coke when I was out earlier picking up snacks.... oh well!
