braxton hicks or for real???
Ok this is really getting old. The first time I gave birth I was induced so I didn't go into labor naturally it was just all at once and super hardcore. I had braxton hicks with that pregnancy and this time too. Now I'm getting even more intense braxton hicks because I went to the hospital on Tuesday and they stopped after two days! I felt really dumb. I'm having them again this morning but I don't know if they are real or just really painful! I'm 2cm and 70% effaced. How can I keep this going or know if they are real? The back and forth thing is driving me crazy!

If it's real, they're going to get timeable and closer together. Otherwise you don't need to worry about them. I get sporadic but painful contractions from time to time as well. They're annoying, but nothing you have to worry about until your water breaks or they start getting timeable/close together.
