My DH's name is Nick and I LOVE the name Noah.

I'm a giant Y&R fan and it didn't occur to me until today that Nick and Noah are father & son on the show.

Is this something people would laugh at????? If not, I'm keeping it at the top of my list.

I don't watch Y&R, so I wouldn't have known. But I did watch DAYS for about 20 years, so I would've known if it was from that show.

If you are wondering what people will do when they do notice it:

If it was from DAYS, I would've probably just said, "That's funny. Noah is Nick's son on DAYS too. haha." And that would be the end of it. I would NOT have thought that you named your son Noah for that reason.

I have a son named Noah so i love that choice in name. I'm sure most people will not correlate the names with a soap opera. I wouldn't have even thought of it!

Neither Nick nor Noah are uncommon enough names that it would be an issue. It's not like you are talking about a Jebediah and a Samson.

I think it's fine. And sort of related, my friend plays Adam on Y&R. I'm a bad friend, though, and don't watch. I just don't have time. Oops!

I would think of that only because Y&R is my mom's favorite soap and i grew up on that. Now if you named your other child Cassie or your name was Victoria then maybe too much.
