My Little Sponge

Well I realize that Fiona is taking in everything I do. She now pretends to put on makeup when I sit her on the counter in the morning while I get ready for work.

Also a few weeks ago I noticed she would play type at the computer and then immediately put her hands up to the sides of her face after hitting a few keys...and she repeats this. DH and I were just thinking it was some funny little quirk. I didn't even realize she was getting this from me - sometimes after typing, I will rest my chin in my hand while reading the computer screen.

I guess I'll learn a lot about myself/habits through her. She's a little sponge :)

    That is the cutest thing ever! She sounds so sweet. 

    ETA: I just noticed her sled in your siggy. We have the same one! And we put it to good use the past couple of days. I love it. It is so stable! Have you guys used yours yet?

    ha, i love it!! they definitely do absorb absolutely every little thing... i swear i can actually SEE sabrina's mind trying to file things away when she looks at me.

    She's such a cutie!  Ellie's not mimicing us yet, but it is so amazing to see those wheels spinning as she's learning things.  I so miss our weekly coffee/storytime outings and can't wait for them to begin again, in what about 12 days!

    Dana: We haven't used the sled yet. We actually experiencing spring-like temps at the moment so all snow has melted away. We do have a tiny hill behind our yard, so I'm looking forward to taking Fiona out when it does snow.

    Lisa: So looking forward to coffee/storytime. I miss it and our weekly meetups.

    Aww.. that is SO cute!  

    Aaron is a sponge, too. He copies nearly everything DH or I do.  It's fun and worrisome at the same time. lol

    Oh yeah! They are so incredible at this age. We too have that sled. We have so much snow but no time to go out.

    I am pretty sure M started clapping because DH and I do it all of the time when he does something we think is great.  Now he's really into wanting whatever I have in my hand at that very moment.
