Reading car seat reviews is driving me crazy!

I'm trying to find the perfect convertible car seat.  There could be 1000 great reviews but I will get hung up on the 1 negative review.  uggghhh.

  • I know how you feel. We have Britax Advocate 70 CS. The added side impact protection plus the Britax name were my primary reasons to buy them.

  • I just went through the same thing. I ultimately ended up buying Britax Marathon after reading reviews and watching their videos about their additional safety features. I also wanted to buy a seat that will last so I don't end up needing to buy another one in the future. They're on sale on albeebaby.com so that was the clincher.
  • yes super frustrating...so many choices and so many opinions!

For oldest son we got an Evenflo symphony that I loved, the only think I didn't like was that it was super heavy : /

For a booster we got him the Britax frontier with 5 point harness....LOVE everything about that seat! its light, easy to install, great reviews etc.

So for the twins, just last week I saw on Albee baby they were having sale on Britax and I've had my eye on the Britax 70 for them, I got two for 25% a piece and free shipping! I was so excited to find them on sale, free shipping and they have wonderful reviews! I am very happy with my purchase!

What I did was just narrowed it down to my top two....thought about it for a while and after our good experience with the britax booster, it was really a no brainer but I wanted to keep my options open. good luck!

  • I'm like that when reading reviews, too. ;) We have the First Years True Fit convertible seats and are happy with them. The ONLY complaint is that the tension is a little difficult to adjust when in the RFing position, but it's not that big a deal.

  • I know. I was so overwhelmed that I kept delaying the decision. We finally went with the Sunshine Radian since we could theoretically fit 3 across in the van if we wanted to. I like how streamlined they are.
