Nodding and shaking her head "no"

She doesn't say yes or no yet, but does these, and means what she says (seriously, don't try to get her to take another bite of cereal bar when she shakes her head or you'll be sorry).

The other day I said, "You're pretty funny, aren't you?" and she nodded. Yes

    Just make sure it's not an ear infection/ Mine did this early around 9 months or somethign and I was impressed she could do it, but found out soon it was an ear infection haha

    Allison is clearly confused...I was so impressed when she shook her head for no a few weeks ago.  Then I realized that the shaking of the head meant yes!  She puts her hands up or says no for no.

    DS shakes his head for yes & no.... but the same way lol.

    If I ask if he loves me, he shakes his head no.

    If I ask if he is cute, he shakes his head no.

    If I ask if he wants to take a nap, he shakes his head no.

    Evie shakes her head, but she doesn't know how to nod yet.

    Instead, for "yes", she bounces up and down.

    My babe will say no, shake his head and lightly push whatever I am offering him out of the way. It's so funny! Every now and then, he will nod yes.
