Since we are closing out 2010, I thought a fun game would be in order. We've all gotten the thousands of questions from friends, family and perfect strangers about our reproductive endeavors. What are some of the best responses to rude and insentive questions you have ever given (or would like to have given but were too polite)?
Question: You pregnant yet?
Answer: You stop cheating on your wife yet?
Yes, I actually said this to a rude, male co-worker. He didn't ask again.
What are yours?

Re: Rude Question / Funny Answer Game
Fun!
I was asked the question about having a baby but it wasn't asked in a nosy/mean spirited way. A co-worker announced she was pregnant and I sent an email congratulating her. She is 38-39 and had gotten married about 2 years ago so I "suspected" she had been trying for a while. I also LOVE when us older ladies get knocked up so I was genuinely happy for her. She then asked me what our plans were. My response: "The stork isn't returning my phone calls". She then told me that he wasn't calling her back either and she had to go find him. Long story long, she ended up having 6 IUI's and got pregnant on the first IVF. It was soo great to hear her story so her asking me prompted me to make the RE appt.
Anyway I think I will use my stork response going forward as people should know to butt out when I say it OR share their IF story!

I don't have my own question/response to share, but I LOVE this one!!!
PAIF and SAIF welcome. IVF questions welcome, too.
Q - Don't you think you are a little old to have another child?
A- Really you mean I should be 16 and pg like you?
Yes a 16 year old that was VERY pg asked me this and yes I responded very rudely....in Walmart.
I love the stork response. I'm definitely using that!
Mine isn't so much a question, most people know not to ask me by now. Buuut a conversation that was relayed to me. This is my stepmother talking to my mother.
Q: Aren't you worried about her fertility?? I mean she is getting up there in age!
A: Well no actually I'm not. If there was anyone to worry about, it would be him (my husband), after all he is 10 years older.
WTF. Seriously? I just nodded, laughed and moved on.
