Emmalee just said the sweetest thing

Emmalee said 3 new things tonight. She said:

1. "Bless you" after I sneezed

2. "Bear sit down" as she was lining up her stuffed animals before bed

3. "Love you" after I said it while putting her to bed

The last one melted my heart and made me smile. I couldn't believe it. That just made all the late nights, tantrums, and teething worth it.

    It was busy with all the family and events going on from Christmas Eve to Christmas Day evening. She did very well despite all the commotion and changes to her schedule. She loves her kitchen the best I think and is too funny to watch as she cooks. Her "Top Chef: Toddler Edition" are great, especially when she throws the pots on the floor and stomps her feet.

    Love are all so sweet, nothing like hearing your little maniac say " I love you" to totally wipe the slate clean.

    Awww it was an off year for our extended family. Yet, Gem's first Christmas was cozy and fun. I think she loves her Sophie the giraffe the best. Hopfully the extended family will chill out and we will have better attendance next year.
