2nd Trimester

Partially anterior placenta?

Mine wraps around my right side which I guess explains why what little movement I think I've felt has all been on the left side.

Anyone else have one?  Have you been feeling movement only on one side?

Re: Partially anterior placenta?

  • I have one, but I have no idea where it is!

I just started feeling movement last week.  I don't know if this means it moved or that baby is stronger!!!

  • I have one too and know nothing about where it is either. My MD didn't mention it, the u/s tech did. She said it was nothing to worry about now. I am not feeling any movement including flutters.

  • I think mine is on the left side of my belly button and wraps around a bit. I feel kicks in my bladder a lot, also some on my right side and the right side of my belly button. I have even felt some lower on my left side but never the upper left.

  • I had an anterior placenta w/ my first, and it took me longer than most to notice big movements, it was mostly flutters really low in my abdomen.

  • Mine is anterior fundal. When LO was head down, I was barely feeling any kicks. Not that he has flipped and his head is up, I am feeling TONS more kicks down low where there is no placenta. I didn't think it would make that much of a difference but it did!
