mvmnt with pressure=contrx?

Last night I definitely was having contractions for an hour then they stopped. I'm super sore "down there" tonight but not having contractions like I was last night.

What I am having is movement that then turns into pressure. Like the baby will move and protrude out for a few seconds and then it relaxes or moves.

I'm not having the "period" cramping I was last night as consistently, but does this feeling still count as contractions?

My dr said that if you can identify baby parts, it's not a contraction. If it were a true contraction, the whole uterus would be hard and you can't feel the baby pushing in specific spots.
