Friday classes for 2 YO

I am looking for suggestions on classes I can take my 2 yar old to that are on fridays and was wondering if anyone on this board knew of any in the everett area. We are currently going to a toddler and me class that allows me to bring my baby but I am really looking for a class type situation where I can spend 1:1 time with my older son which means I'd have to do it on a friday (that is when I can get a sitter). i think my son will benefit more from 1:1 attention.

Any suggestions are appriciated, thank you!

Re: Friday classes for 2 YO

  • A coop preschool may work for you. We are in one that we found through the Edmonds community college. Call you local college to see if they have a program. We love our coop (there isn't a 2's class on Friday, though). Also, the Francis Anderson center has classes every day of the week. You may find a local community center that does something like that as well.?

  • Have you looked at Little Gym, Water Babies, Gymboree?

  • We do little gym on Thursdays and It has been great.  I looked into the coop situation for everett cc, but I can't remember what days they did it.. i want to say it was wednesdays.  What about a library time?

  • Thanks for all the suggestions. I didn't look into library time or little gym since I was looking for more of a "school" type setting where they play, read, and do snack time all while helping them learn the daily things such as saying thank you, please, help cleaning up, listening to direction in a class setting, manner during eating time, things like that. They actually cover all this in the current class I am going to on thursday but I really wish they had a friday class. We do cover this all at home too but I think it is important for our son to also see how it works outside the home as well. And then when he goes to preschool it will also give me a little insight on how that will work :)

    Thank you!
