I ordered some delicious fiber from an amazing shepherdess in California who raises champion Wensleydale sheep (among other fiber animals). So, the yarn I'm making is spun directly from these gorgeous locks. They're mostly unprocessed, save for a bath (in Aveda products...lol) and a trip through the dyepot. Basically, to spin them you just fluff them apart and go to it. It's freaking awesome.

I've been wanting to knit myself a tam (hat), so I think this might be the trim. This is the first yarn I've spun that I would consider usable. The rest of it is...uhhh...more experimental looking. lol
