Feeding egg yolks?

How do/did you give your LO egg yolks?  I wanted to give some to Gso I put some small pieces on her tray but she couldn't really pick it up well and then when she did she couldn't get much to her mouth.

I tried boiling the egg and then cutting up the yolk.  Should I maybe try just scrambling the yolk?

    I scrambled the yolk when I tried it with D for the first time.

    Yes, we scrambled at first.  Closer to a year, I didn't worry about the whites as much - I figured there were plenty of egg whites in the cooked things I was giving him (pancakes/muffins) and that cooking them in a pan was not different than cooking them in other things!  We also don't have any food allergies, though.

    I've given DS both cut up pieces of hard boiled yolk as well as a whole fried yolk.
