Poor DS's nose

DS got a cold the day after Christmas, nose running like a faucet. Because of his nose running so much and us wiping it so much (we were using soft tissues, boogie wipes or a warm washcloth), he got an infection under his nose. At first I thought it was just impetigo because of the open sores. They called in a topical cream. But its gotten a lot worse and was oozing green, red and white puss this morning, with a lot of scabs, so DH took him to the doctor. He's now on an oral antibiotic as well because it's very infected. 

I feel SO bad for him. It's got to be so sore. If I even say the word nose, he runs away in hysterics thinking I'm going to wipe it, put medicine on it, etc.
