Toddler Towels

Where do you get LO's towels?  The baby ones still work for now, but I know soon DD is going to need some bigger towels.  I know that my niece had some really cute animal and princess hooded towels, but not sure where she got them.

A lot of the reviews for the disney towels and the hooded ones at target are that they are really thin or fall apart...

Where do you find nice absorbent, but fun towels for LO?

Re: Toddler Towels

  • I got a cute yellow duck and green frog from Kohls, they are nice and thick and really big.

  • We have one from Target it is a fish one and it is GREAT quality!
  • we have several PBK animal ones that were given as gifts when they were born that are really nice, very thick & I think they'll work until they're quite a bit bigger (they're 17 mo, abour 24 lbs now). I don't really plan to buy more, will just change to regular towels once these are worn out. I visited my mom for the holidays & used regular towels & I don't really see the need for the toddler ones other than the hood and the cuteness factor but you can just dry their head off right away...
  • we got ours at Kohls and love them.

  • a lady at church makes toddler towels. She uses full size towels and adds the cute animal head parts
  • Kohls. I just bought Cat in the Hat and Horton hooded towels online. So cute!
  • DH and i are on a pretty tight budget so we just got some really bright colored towels from target that were on sake during college move in time and they are great super soft and absorbant!

I really want robes for the LOs bc the hooded towels dont stay on them while i am corraling them from the bathroom into the bedroom so i have two semi wet naked babies running down the hall... as cute as that may sound you fear someone will pee in your hallway hahaha!

anybody got an idea where i could get cost effective (like under $20 ea) robes for toddlers

  • I just got regular soft towels in bright blue and lime green.  They have a lot of colors at Target or BB&B.
  • we have 2 from Pottery Barn Kids.  I know Company Kids sells them as well.  G got one for Christmas but I don't know where it came from.

  • I make DD's hooded towels out of a large bath sheet from this pattern:  https://www.prudentbaby.com/2010/05/hamptons-hooded-beach-towel.html
