sewing is damn fun

who knew? I'm on my second pillowcase, lol.My son is thrilled to sleep with his dinosaur pillowcase.

I keep forgetting to put the 'foot' down and getting a tangle. It's funny -- I do a lot of freshwater fishing and really, the tangles are not so different.

I want to make an Amy Butler POUF!!! This is probably pretty ambitious.

    O love to sew.  On Christmas Morning, I made a twin baby carrier for DD and she has been wearing it ever since.  I make a lot of summer dresses for her, but also whatever her little mind dreams up from a snake puppet to a pocket for a stuffed raccoon.

    I think you'll be surprised at how much you can really do.  I got very ambitious and decided to make dd a dress for her birthday party this year. It's all full of gathers and bows (basically a peasant dress made to look like minnie mouse's dress). It came out great, and I was scared as hell when I started it!

    I bought a sewing machine last year and have hardly used it .. fear! I did buy a new sewing book and am going to get into it.
