Ok sorry if this is asked on here frequently but I have a question. I took a test before I went on vacation to disney on the 23rd. It was negative. On the 25th I had an abnormally heavy period and it lasted heavy for 1 day and light for 1 and 1/2 days. So I just figured with the negative and the period I was not KU. I had a weird feeling when I got home last night, so this morning I take a test and get a positive. The dr said to just take it easy and I can go in on monday. Do you guys think this is a miscarriage? I am freaking out, just wanted to know if this has happened to anyone else ttc? Oh and I went on roller coaster while at disney
Re: heavy bleeding and a bfp...
It may be a chemical pregnancy, unfortunately. Your doctor will be able to tell by doing betas.
And don't beat yourself up. Riding roller coasters can't cause m/c.
Been married since 2009.

I hope your doctor can give you some answers.
PS, how was Disney? I am so jealous. We love Disney!

Sweetie, don't stress yourself out too much. Unless coupled with cramping (to any degree), try not to even think about it until you speak with your doctor. I can tell you from recent personal experience that it's so early in the game, there's not much they can do for you until you're at least 8 weeks.
And as an earlier poster said, you can't miscarry because of a roller coaster. Pretty much, if you're miscarrying, it has to do with chromosomal defects already present in baby upon conception.
Bleeding can be any number of things though. It could be implantation bleeding, or I've even heard of some of my friends continuing to have "periods" throughout their pregnancies.
Bleeding in the first trimester is usually normal. And, not to sound harsh, but like it was told to me when I found out I was indeed miscarrying, if you're miscarrying there's nothing they can do for you.
Just trust that all these things will work out in the end, and I'll pray for you and your little one for health and safety!!
If you would like to ask any other questions or talk to me at all about it, feel free to private message me anytime. I researched a loooot about the topic. :]
Take it easy, girlie! Relax and let DH do some housework for a few days. :]
