had my HSG today

And my tubes are open Smile

Of course, that is just a prelim report and not the final one, but I was pretty happy.

I took 800mg of Ibuprophen about 1.5 hours prior to the procedure. I would say the discomfort was about a 6/10 and very short. My cervix is very anterior so I thought she would have trouble getting the catheter through, but it was not a big problem. I did have to lie on my side to get the contrast to fill my tubes and that was crampy but it was over fast.

I had a tad bit of spotting and still some cramping but nothing like I imagined.

Just thought I would share for those that have recently posted questions about this test.

    Dx: DH - Azoo, Me - Mild PCOS
    DH - sperm found! Seems to produce only for a few days every 70 days!
    Over 1 million in cryo in 15 vials over 6 samples
    IVF #1 - 1 beautiful expanded blast transferred, 4 snowbabies - beta #1 11/30/11 = BFFN
    FET #1, transfered 2 embies 2/16/12 = BFFN; 1 snowbaby left in cryo
    IVF #2 + CGH = 4 genetically normal embies on ice. FET September 26th
    SAIF/PAIF always welcome

    Yes. It's his turn next for the SA. I am hoping he can get it done soon. b/w is out for me this cycle as CD 3 I was travelling and CD10 will be a Saturday.
